have you heard of Pinterest?
Well, if you have:
- you are either addicted or
- you think it’s a total waste of time.
If you haven’t heard of Pinterest before:
It’s a photo sharing platform, where you can organize and curate photo galleries online. You can follow other people’s boards, work with your clients on a shared moodboard, or simply find inspiration for your next garden party.
First, you have to sign up with your own Pinterest account (your name and a valid e-mail address is enough). Then, you can start following your friends, artists or companies that you like (or maybe even ME). You also have the option to only follow the boards you’re interested in.
You can create different boards, and either upload YOUR own photos, or PIN the ones already on Pinterest into your online Pinterest gallery. Please, DO NOT upload photos from other people’s websites without their permission! That would create copyright issues and could get you into trouble!
If you respect that, you have millions of photos on Pinterest to chose from, and you can create fun Pinterest Boards for topics, such as:
- DREAM HOMES
- FASHION & STYLE
- DELISCIOUS RECIPES
- or any of your own interests.
You can visit my Pinterest Album MODERNMONALISA , just to get an idea, of what’s possible.
You can collect ideas and inspiration for a certain project that you’re working on, such as renovating your GARDEN or HOUSE.
Or, you can create a board for COLOR INSPIRATION.
Or, how about charming GREENHOUSES.
Or FLORAL INSPIRATION for wedding styling.
You get the idea. It’s a source of endless inspiration. Whether you’re a creative artist, a floral designer, a photographer, or if you’re a Mom simply looking for birthday party inspiration for your kids, Pinterest has a wealth of ideas to be inspired by.
My final tip: I only follow people, who pin things I admire too, and who would never pin indecent images. That way, my home pinterest feed always looks stunning and is mostly free of pictures that I wouldn’t want my children to see.
I hope you feel inspired, and I’ll see you on Pinterest.
